Fun Times

I guess I could et use to this growing up that joey is doing lately. he just really wants to help at everything. I just love our new vaccuum because the handle lowers and is just the right size for joey. it definitely makes things easier when i can say 'joey, go vaccuum your room' i didn't think that I would be able to say that for at least another 5 years.
just because he can vaccuum doesn't mean that he has taken a new interest in staying clean. oh...not at all. in fact i think that since he learned to vaccuum he has become messier in the hopes that he will be able to vaccuum.

These are joey's favorite pjs.
Look at these three little devils. These are joey's new friends, Sebastian,5 and Chris, 3. Joe's old friend from the Marines, Danielle has two boys and we have been spending plenty of time together. The boys get along great well as great as three boys can.

WE FINALLY GOT HITCHED
It was so perfect. I couldn't have dreamed of it being any better than it was. The weather was great and my family was there, well most of them. We did have a little problem with the mail. I think that New Orleans needs to go back to real post masters and not contracted ones because ALOT of invitations got lost. The wedding was August 9, 2008 in New Olreans, LA. I was so suprised at how many friends drove in from out of town and how many relatives traveled for the big day. It really made us feel loved. Joey was so adorable. You will see that if you click on the links at the bottom. I was trying to put more pics on here but it kept messing up. I just don't have the time. Love ya all

Joey's New School

Well for those that don't know...Joey finally got into the school I put him on the waitinglist for before he was born. We both love it. He has been there since October 1st. The playground is amazing. These are just a few pictures although you can't really get a good look at all the things they have to play on. He has two teachers one who has her degree in Child Developement and the other working on it but has been working with kids for a long time. Joey loves them and his "new friends" Every morning when we pull up he yells..."Yeah...new friends!" So we are blessed.

TRICK oR TREAT
Well I would have to say that Halloween this year was a success. Joey was a big hit...I am just glad that we went to an Alabama Fan neighborhood. :) Joey kept getting extra candy for saying Roll Tide so that soon replaced the Trick or Treat I practiced with him for the last 2 weeks. I guess he figured let's get to it and get more candy from the get go. Well he had a blast and I have to say I had a pretty good time too.

PIZZA NIGHT

This is my little chef's own creation. He is getting so good at not piling all the pepperoni in the same place...just the majority is on his side. :)

The Weekend with P Paw

Joey just loved the weekends with the grandparents. They get to do so many things. Here is Joey at Tate Farms in Huntsville. I think this is Joey checking to see if this pig is still alive. I guess I would play dead too if I had hundreds of kids poking at me all day. Poor little guy. He looks pooped.

Now here is my poor little guy looking pooped. He always sleep so well when I get him back.

Wow, I knew it have been a long time since I have posted but I really didn't think that it had been over 5 months. Well much has happened since then. I am still in school and so far doing well...the end is near though so that makes me happy.

Oh more school related news. Joe got accepted into Berekely's Journalism Department for his Masters. I would like to brag that he was one of 55 people a year accepted. Go Joe!!! I am very proud.

Joey is growing more and more everyday. He says things that just surprise me all the time. He now can say, "I don't like that" and "Tyler hit me." (which was his first sentence) Isn't that a great one to remember? "Oh, Joey your first sentence was about a boy in your class physically abusing you. NICE!!

OOOOHHHHHH!!! The greatest thing ever!!! Joe planned for all of our friends to gather at this little Italian place that has 1/2 price pizza and wine for my birthday. Kind of fancy. Well I was so excited. My last couple have kind of sucked. So I was really hoping that it would break the cycle and boy did it!!!! After dinner Joe tells me to close my eyes and then he covers them for me to make sure I wasn't peaking. I knew it had to be a cake. So his hands come from infront my eyes and the massive number of candles blinded me. After everyone sang Happy Birthday a massive silence filled the table and even the surrounding tables. Then I realized why. Poking out of the center of the cake was a sparly diamond ring. Joe took it out and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was just so shocked that I gave him the wrong hand, and once we got the ring off of that finger and put it on the correct one I was still in shock so what do I say, "Yes...yeah sure... well i guess...YES." We have not planned anything just yet. It will probably be a little while though.

I forgot to mention we are working on potty training. That is just so much fun. Biker magazines already. GREAT!

Joe and I's road trip to Baltimore. This is us on the way home on the BlueRidge Pkwy. It was just so beautiful. The whole trip was great. It was nice to be able to act like a couple and spent time only focusing on each other without joey taking so much of our time.

One other thing. Joey's has officially turned 2 as of the 21st of June. He had a blast and got so many great presents. He really racked up this year. dump trucks, a HUGE tent, a new table just fo him (he loves it), the kid even got a tv. How many 2 year olds do you know with their own tv? I just have one word SPOILED, but very loved.

FUN AT GRANDMOMMY AND GRANDPA'S

Friday, December 22, 2006

Well he finally did it. Joe is now an officail gradutate of the University of Alabama. Congrats! Well on Saturday, December 16th, 2006 Joe received his Bachelors in Journalism. We are all very proud of him. Now it is my turn. I hope it comes soon. His mom and family came over after the ceremony for a good Southern BBQ. And the best graduation present ever... three day break from our little Joe. It was nice to just do nothing. :) Don't get us wrong we love our baby boy more than anything in the world...but anyone with kids totally understands

I was just so proud of my cupcakes I had to show them off a little bit.
