Fun Times

Wow, I knew it have been a long time since I have posted but I really didn't think that it had been over 5 months. Well much has happened since then. I am still in school and so far doing well...the end is near though so that makes me happy.

Oh more school related news. Joe got accepted into Berekely's Journalism Department for his Masters. I would like to brag that he was one of 55 people a year accepted. Go Joe!!! I am very proud.

Joey is growing more and more everyday. He says things that just surprise me all the time. He now can say, "I don't like that" and "Tyler hit me." (which was his first sentence) Isn't that a great one to remember? "Oh, Joey your first sentence was about a boy in your class physically abusing you. NICE!!

OOOOHHHHHH!!! The greatest thing ever!!! Joe planned for all of our friends to gather at this little Italian place that has 1/2 price pizza and wine for my birthday. Kind of fancy. Well I was so excited. My last couple have kind of sucked. So I was really hoping that it would break the cycle and boy did it!!!! After dinner Joe tells me to close my eyes and then he covers them for me to make sure I wasn't peaking. I knew it had to be a cake. So his hands come from infront my eyes and the massive number of candles blinded me. After everyone sang Happy Birthday a massive silence filled the table and even the surrounding tables. Then I realized why. Poking out of the center of the cake was a sparly diamond ring. Joe took it out and got down on one knee and asked me to marry him. I was just so shocked that I gave him the wrong hand, and once we got the ring off of that finger and put it on the correct one I was still in shock so what do I say, "Yes...yeah sure... well i guess...YES." We have not planned anything just yet. It will probably be a little while though.

I forgot to mention we are working on potty training. That is just so much fun. Biker magazines already. GREAT!

Joe and I's road trip to Baltimore. This is us on the way home on the BlueRidge Pkwy. It was just so beautiful. The whole trip was great. It was nice to be able to act like a couple and spent time only focusing on each other without joey taking so much of our time.

One other thing. Joey's has officially turned 2 as of the 21st of June. He had a blast and got so many great presents. He really racked up this year. dump trucks, a HUGE tent, a new table just fo him (he loves it), the kid even got a tv. How many 2 year olds do you know with their own tv? I just have one word SPOILED, but very loved.
